Benefits of Aloe Vera

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with Pharm-Aloe, I just love their products and trust the information they provide. View my disclosures.

This is just something I must share with the world! I mean it hasn’t been life altering for myself or anything but I can tell a difference in my digestive health and overall health in general since adding aloe vera juice  into my daily wellness routine. It may not be so life changing for me because I have been on this health healing journey for a couple years now and don’t have much to fix anymore so I’m sure this could change someone’s life.

I work at a “health food” store. More so a natural supplement shop. I’m surrounded by my niche and I’m truly in love with my job. Everyday we go through sections of the store to make sure we are clearing out close to expiring product and adding them to the clearance shelves for fast sales. Which is also my favorite because that means I get more products for a much bigger discount. And guess what product was on clearance? That’s right, Pharm-Aloe was. So I snatched myself a gallon jug of that! There’s nothing better than getting to try new things at a discount am I right?

Every morning and occasionally throughout the day I’d have myself a glass of kombucha. So in the mornings I started to add aloe to my glass too. And here’s what happened to me!

  • Inflammation decreased
  • Acid reflux disappeared
  • Bloating decreased
  • Acne (maskne) disappeared
  • My joint pain went down
  • And overall I felt more healthy and energized!

Let’s go over some of the active ingredients/components of Aloe Vera Leaf Juice:

  • Vitamins C and E Antioxidants
  • Lectins (proteins) Anti-Inflammatory
  • Gibberellins Builds Immune System
  • Salicylic Acid/Magnesium Produce analgesic (pain killing) properties
  • Saponins Antiseptic properties
  • Polysaccharides Builds immune systems, healing properties, anti-viral, anti-Inflammatory, aid in cellular communication
  • Glycoproteins Anti-Inflammatory, wound healing, aid in cellular communication

So what can aloe vera help with?

Aloe has been used medicinally for over 4,500 years. Often referred to as the “medicine plant” and rightfully so as it has many therapeutic properties. There are over 200 different varieties of aloe in the lily family of botanicals. The aloe vera we are commonly using is Aloe Barbadensis Miller. Nowadays this amazing plant, that has been trusted by our ancestors for thousands of years, is backed by science!

According to Pharm-Aloe, who add that if you have any questions you can email them at ask@pharmaloe.com, common uses for Aloe Vera ingested and used topically are:

Aloe also has at least 140 components that can reduce inflammation, stimulate the production of white blood cells, heal wounds and fights infections. Though all the experts agree, no one specific substance in aloe is responsible for all of it’s therapeutic properties. So to reap all the amazing benefits you need to find a product that is made from the entire aloe leaf. I will (most likely) forever get my aloe leaf juice from http://www.pharmaloe.com
